Mission
Through student/instructor interaction, the MBA program encourages development of critical, analytical, and decision-making abilities in a global business environment. The program provides a broad-based, graduate-level business education with opportunities for specialization. The program presents contemporary business concepts and theory, while also demonstrating their application in practical interdisciplinary business settings.
Learning Goals and Objectives
Goal 1: Students will be integrated/interdisciplinary thinkers.
Objective 1.1: Students will integrate a variety of approaches and practices from various disciplines to analyze and evaluate organizational situations.
Objective 1.2: Students will integrate a varity of methods and practices from various disciplines to propose solutions to organizational problems.
Goal 2: Students will be effective communicators.
Objective 2.1: Students will prepare and deliver a professional presentation on a business issue.
Objective 2.2: Students will demonstrate effective written communication skills.
Goal 3: Students will be skilled in critical thinking and decision-making, as supported by an appropriate use of analytical and quantitative techniques.
Objective 3.1: Students will identify appropriate methodology to address a business problem or opportunity.
Objective 3.2: Students will solve business problems using appropriate quantitative and analytical techniques.
Objective 3.3: Students will defend reasoned solutions to business problems.
