About the Accounting Club
'

The primary purpose of accounting club is to provide social/educational events for accounting majors to take part in. It also provides a way for Accounting majors to become involved in different activities/organizations. Some examples of events we hold throughout the year are:

  • Fall Picnic
  • Misc. Field Trips
  • Bowling with Accounting Recruiters
  • Regional Firms Night (we host regional public accounting firms in a panel discussion)
  • Christmas Banquet
  • Minneapolis Trip to visit Accounting firms/organizations (sponser every other year)
  • Social at the Union
  • Guest Speakers

Reasons to Join:

  • Meet Accounting Professors and fellow accounting students
  • Opportunites to meet Recruiters and Accounting Professionals
  • Networking
  • Develop leadership and organizational skills
  • Enhance communication skills
  • Involvement in a wide variety of events
  • And of course, have some FUN!

How to Join?

  • Membership dues are $12 per semester or $20 per year
  • Dues can be paid to Marsha in the Department of Accountancy Office or you can contact any of the officers
