the UND College of Business and Public Administration
is one of only about 450 institutions around the world,
to receive such accreditation. This accreditation is
received through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review
process and UND prides itself in maintaining this accreditation.
Our
faculty members, consisting of 30 tenured,
27 tenure-track, and 13 non-tenure members, plus administrators,
have a strong commitment to help our graduates become
not just managers, but leaders in the global economy.
Our faculty have received international recognition
with publications in many prominent journals. A partnership
with the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology's
College of Management has been established. Further,
close to 100 international students are enrolled in
the College of Business and Public Administration. The
offering of a minor in Chinese Studies demonstrates
our school's commitment to international education.
Degree
offerings in the UND College of Business and Public
Administration include 14 undergraduate
majors in eight departments and in four graduate programs.
Majors are:
Accountancy; Airport Management; Aviation Management;
Banking and Financial Economics; Business Economics;
Entrepreneurship; Financial Management; Industrial Technology;
Information Systems; Management; Managerial Finance
and Corporate Accounting; Public Administration; Occupational
Safety and Environmental Health; other offerings include
a Minor in Information Systems; Minor in International
Business; Minor in Chinese Studies - Culture and Business;
a degree in Business Education; and a track in Entrepreneurship.
Master degrees offered by the college faculty include:
Master of Business Administration; Master of Science
in Industrial Technology; Master in Public Administration;
Master of Science in Career and Technical Education.
Student
Life. The UND College of Business and
Public Administration has over 20 business and public
administration clubs and honor society associations.
Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society is one of a select group
of chapters, available only in business schools with
the AACSB International accreditation. With an enrollment
of 13,034, UND is a mid-sized university in the community
of Grand Forks, with a population of about 50,000. Our
safe and friendly Midwestern setting provide a welcoming
environment in which to study and learn.
Cost.
In recent years tuition rates at U.S. colleges and universities
have escalated sharply. When comparison shopping, students
