Resources for Graduate Students
The Pancratz Center offers assistance and resources for graduate students looking to better achieve their professional goals after receiving their advanced degrees.
Some of the ways Pancratz Center staff can assist graduate students include:
CoBPA Internship Program
CoBPA works to provide experiential-learning opportunities that help students connect classroom learning with the professional world. Email the Pancratz Center to learn more about how to get started.
Students may set an appointment with a Pancratz Center staff to discuss interviewing strategies, conduct a mock interview, or use InterviewStream technology to record and review practice interviews wherever they have access to the internet and a webcam. Students who do not have access to a webcam can record their interviews in the Career Center Conference Room. PCDC staff will review the interview and suggest strategies for improvement.
Jobs and Internships
The Pancratz Center will post graduate-specific job and internship opportunities on this page for MBA/MAcc/MSAE/MPA students. Additionally we are able to post openings to the Pancratz Center Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts.
The University of North Dakota has contracted with Handshake, an online service that helps connect students looking for work experience with employers that are eager to hire ambitious students. Employers can post full-time jobs, co-op, or internship positions available to UND students and graduates. Handshake will be available to students in late Spring 2018.
LinkedIn and Social Media Review
The Pancratz Center can review or help CoBPA graudate students set up professional looking LinkedIn pages. We can also review social media settings for other sites, looking for things that may be potential red flags to employers.
