About Me
It is my belief that in our culture information is best communicated through visual messages. I believe graphic design is an exploration into the idea that memorable visual messages have the greatest power to inform, educate, and persuade an individual. Graphic design also has an explicit purpose or meaning besides being just artistic or pleasant to your senses. That purpose is to solve a problem and get a positive reaction out of your viewers. The problem is solved by arranging visual elements to communicate a message and establishing harmony between the elements in the design in a way that reinforces the message. It is my goal and responsibility as a graphic designer to present these envisioned messages in an innovative and unique way in which both the client and myself, the designer, are satisfied. I graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Graphic Design Technology. This portfolio contains a selection of my work from my college career.
