About the Pancratz Career Development Center
The Pancratz Career Development Center is designed with the goal of providing CoBPA students with the tools necessary to succeed in their chosen career paths. A variety of professional outcomes will be met by offering more direct access to career preparation and networking through the services provided.
This center is made possible through a generous gift from Linda and Mark Pancratz. Our students will have the opportunity to enhance their professional and networking skills through career development at the Pancratz Career Development Center.
SERVICES OFFERED
The services offered through the Pancratz Career Development Center include:
*Resume & Cover Letter Reviews: Students may stop into the Center to discuss resume and cover letter writing strategies or to have their documents reviewed and critiqued by a Center staff member.
*InterviewStream: Students may set up an account on our InterviewStream portal to record and review practice interviews wherever they have access to th internet and a webcam. Students who do not have access to a webcam can record their interviews in the Career Center Conference Room. PCDC staff can review the interview and suggest strategies for improvement.
*Job Listings: The Center maintains a job board with full-time, internship, and co-op listings from UND Career Services as well as other positions that may be of interest to CoBPA students. Job listings can be found both online and on the Job board located outside of the Career Center. A full list of upcoming on-campus interviews arranged through Career Services is also available on the website.
*Educational Programming: Students can receive academic credit for participating in our Career Development class series. Visit with the PCDC staff or your academic adviser for more information.
*Upcoming Events: Students can stop by the Center website or job board for a listing of upcoming job fairs and career-focused events occurring on campus, in the community, and around the region.
*Career Center Computers: The Center features four computers that students may use to work on resumes, search job databases, submit applications, and correspond with potential employers.
*On-Site Interviews: The Center conference room is a perfect setting for employers to conduct on-campus interviews. Employers interested in interviewing CoBPA majors can schedule time on campus through UND Career Services.
*Remote Interviewing: The Center conference room has video conferencing equipment that can be used by students for video conferencing with other professionals or to participate in interviews with employers at a distance. Employers at a distance who are interested in interviewing CoBPA majors are able to do so through video conferencing, making career opportunities more accessible to our students and our students more accessible to employers.
*Mentoring Program: The Center has launched a Mentor Program for students in their junior and senior year of their studies. The program provides an opportunity for students to connect with professionals in their fields. Individuals interested in serving as mentors can contact the Center at 701.777.3628.
