Students Create Unique Lighting Fixtures in TECH332 Industrial Design Mini Project
In the course of less than three weeks, students in TECH332 Industrial Design put their skills to the test to design and build lighting fixtures that would provide a unique experience for their chosen target audience. During the first week, design alternatives were sketched and critiqued. In week two, the necessary manufacturing processes were determined and materials were purchased. In week three, the students continued building and presented their lighting fixtures at a marketplace/expo in the classroom.
