Kulas and Koppenhaver Memorial Accounting Center
For over 48 years, Ludwik Kulas and R.D. Koppenhaver dedicated their time and energy to the department of accountancy at UND. “Kope & Louie” led thousands of students into the world of business and made the department what it is today – one of the region’s most highly respected business schools. Many of us can attribute our individual success to their guidance.
To honor these two great men, an accounting classroom was remodeled and named the Kulas Koppenhaver Memorial Accounting Learning Center. Many alumni told us that a classroom wasn’t enough -- alumni wanted to do more. On October 27, 2004, a drive to establish the Kulas Koppenhaver Memorial Endowment. This endowment will specifically support classroom technology and priority needs within the department of accountancy at UND. Continued support to this endowment will make an impact on students today, and tomorrow.
