Bob, who was a creative and innovative business leader, left an indelible mark on retail merchandising methods across the upper Midwest and his merchandising ideas were a forerunner of what is today accepted as a successful way of doing business. Gershman Memorial Scholarship in memory and honor of his father, Harry Gershman, a Grand Forks businessman who was very dedicated to the University of North Dakota.
