NistlerEdge

Communicate the value of experiential learning with NistlerEdge.

Why are students utilizing NistlerEdge?

In addition to what students are achieving academically, they are also participating in numerous learning experiences outside of the classroom. Through the NistlerEdge platform, Nistler College students can build their experiential learning transcript by tracking these activities. Students create their own digital portfolios, share achievements on LinkedIn, and compete for the top spot on the leaderboard.

Why are NistlerEdge badges important to employers?

Employers want to hire business and public administration graduates who are not only academically accomplished but also possess real-world experience and industry-relevant skills. NistlerEdge provides employers with a more comprehensive view of a candidate’s abilities. See a candidate’s journey beyond academic performance through activities such as internships, case studies, leadership roles, campus and community involvement, and collaborative team projects—aligning students’ experiences with the skills employers seek.

We have created 9 core competencies designed to demonstrate key skillsets students acquire as they work toward their professional goals. Each competency includes corresponding activities to complete to earn points toward Bronze, Silver, and Gold badges. Each verified badge provides insight into the student’s soft skills, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experiences.

Below is a brief description of each of the 9 competencies:
