The Institute of Policy and Business Analytics
The Nistler College's hub for applied research and insight.
At the Institute of Policy and Business Analytics (IPBA), we provide data-driven insights and analysis that help shape public policy and guide strategic business decisions across North Dakota and the region. By collaborating with researchers across UND and partnering on externally funded projects, we translate rigorous research into actionable solutions that address real-world challenges.
Our work supports UND’s Strategic Plan, strengthens economic development, and fosters innovative opportunities that benefit communities, organizations, and industries throughout the state. Through these efforts, IPBA serves as a bridge between academic expertise and meaningful societal impact, demonstrating how research can drive progress, growth, and informed decision-making.
