Letter from the Chair
The Middleton School prepares students to tackle real-world challenges and realize gains from positive opportunities.
On behalf of the faculty and staff of our programs, I would like to welcome you to the Middleton School of Entrepreneurship & Management, an academic unit found in the Nistler College of Business & Public Administration. We are dedicated to engaging you in ways that enhance your educational and professional development. Faculty members of the Middleton School utilize learning approaches and experiences that prepare students for promising careers that are both enriching and impactful. Our professors also actively develop research, which they publish in journals and share with students in the classroom. Our staff are friendly and are always willing to lend a helping hand to take care of students’ needs. The diverse curricula we offer are innovative and represent many different majors, minors, and certificates. You can elect to study how entrepreneurs start and grow small businesses, or you can learn how managers lead companies of all sizes and missions. You can even specialize by understanding how to manage human resources in organizations, or you may elect to learn how to optimize supply chain functions and logistics functions. Finally, you can specialize in how to manage organizations operating in the aviation industry. Being part of the Middleton School should prepare you for a variety of challenging and exciting careers in different and rewarding sections that include:
- Entrepreneurship and small business management
- General management
- Human resource management
- Supply chain and logistics
- Aviation management
- For-profit and nonprofit leadership
Given our variety of study, Middleton School graduates often enjoy excellent job placement in organizations and are highly recruited for employment in a number of different sectors.
