Middleton Business Plan Competition

The Middleton Business Plan Competition will be held April 24-25, 2025.

Prizes

Final prizes and amounts to be determined by the Judging Team.

• Best Overall: $10,000
• Runner Up: $8,000
• 2nd Runner Up: $6,000
• Most Innovative/Highest Growth Potential: $4,000
• Social Impact: $4,000
• Best Undergraduate Team: $3,000

Format

• Semi-Final Round - April 24, 2025
• Final Round - April 25, 2025 (morning competition followed by lunch)
• Length of Presentation - 20 minutes (strictly timed) + 20 minutes for questions and answers

Schedule

• Intent to Compete: March 24, 2025 by 11:59 p.m.
• Business Plans Due/Final Commitment to Compete: April 15, 2025 by 11:59 p.m.

Requirements

• The competition is in-person only (not Zoom), and all members must be present.
• Teams must be present for the entire event on the final presentation day to be eligible for any of the prizes.

Barry Auditorium (Nistler 110)

Judges

• Preliminary Round: Minimum of 3 judges per team depending on number of entries.
• Final Round: 5 judges
