Through engaging talks and discussions, students gain practical perspectives on innovation, leadership, and career pathways while building inspiration and professional connections that extend learning beyond the classroom.
Fall 2025 Speaker Series

The inaugural series featured, Stacey Mesteth, Risk Manager and VP at NDUAS Council. Her talk titled, "The Ethical Edge: How Responsible Practices Protect Businesses in Emerging Technologies," was held on November 19, 2025 at 5:30 PM in Nistler Hall.
Presentation Summary
As AI and autonomous technologies quickly move from concept to everyday reality, the next generation of innovators will shape how these tools impact society. This session explored how smart, responsible, and ethical technology use isn’t just good practice, it’s key to building trust, opportunity, and long-term success. Gaining insight into how emerging tech is changing industries, what accountability looks like in an autonomous world, and why thoughtful leadership matters as much as technical skill.
