Reporting Internships

Academic Credit

1. Contact your Internship Coordinator to gain permission for academic credit
2. After approval your Internship Coordinator will contact us to start the internship paperwork process
3. Once we have been notified of the approval we will also send you directions on how to register your internship on Handshake

How to Report Internships

If you are participating in an internship for academic credit at the University of North Dakota, please read the Handshake Internship Manual and complete the following steps:

1. Sign into Handshake using your UND username and password (the same for Campus Connection and Blackboard)
2. Complete registration and fill out your Handshake Profile
3. To report your internship, select Career Center on the side of the page or select University of North Dakota at the top of the page
4. Then click Experiences in the middle of the page
5. From the Experience page you will select Submit an Experience
6. Complete all the fields requested and make sure to select Business & Public Administration for Experience template
