Resources for Students
We prepare students with the tools necessary to succeed in their chosen career paths.
The Pancratz Career Development Center offers a wide variety of resources for students to lay the foundation for their future careers. To utilize any of the Center's services, please give us a call, send us an email, or stop into the Center to set up an appointment.
We also offer our services to Nistler CoBPA graduate students, both online and on-campus. If you are a graduate student looking to take the next steps in your career preparations, click the link below to see how the Center can assist you.
Resumes are a critical tool for students to gain job and internship opportunities, so it's important to continuously update and perfect your resume. Students may visit the Center to discuss resume writing strategies or to have their documents reviewed and critiqued by a Pancratz Center staff member.
We recommend students always include a cover letter when submitting their application and resume for a job or internship. Students may visit the Center to discuss their cover letter, learn new tips and writing strategies, and have their letter reviewed by a Pancratz Center staff member.
Students may set an appointment with a Pancratz Center staff to discuss interviewing strategies, conduct a mock interview, or to get help articulating common interview answers.
The Center conference room has video conferencing equipment that can be used by Nistler CoBPA students for video conferencing with other professionals or to participate in interviews with employers at a distance. Employers who are interested in interviewing Nistler CoBPA majors are able to do so through video conferencing, making career opportunities more accessible to our students and our students more accessible to employers. Contact Pancratz Center staff to reserve our conference room for interviewing.
Our website is updated bi-weekly with full-time, internship, and co-op listings from UND Career Services as well as other positions that may be of interest to Nistler CoBPA students. Most Job listings can be found on Handshake. You can also make an appointment with Pancratz Center staff to learn about job and internship search strategies for your specific major.
The Pancratz Center works with the academic department internship coordinators to register students in their internship courses. To learn more about participating in an internship for credit visit the Reporting Internships page.
Make a great first impression at your next interview or networking event with some help from the Pancratz Professional Closet! We have a wide variety of professional clothing for both men and women, generously donated to the Center by alumni and friends of the college. Current Nistler CoBPA students are allowed two clothing items and an accessory each semester. The best part - it's entirely FREE for students!
The Professional Closet is available by appointment Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30.
Donations are welcome during our normal business hours. If you are able, please let us know when you will be in ahead of time. If you do not have clothing to donate, you can make a monetary donation by clicking this link. Thank you for your continued support!
Improving your Professional Brand
The Pancratz Center can review or help Nistler CoBPA students set up professional looking LinkedIn pages. We can also review social media settings, looking for things that may be potential red flags to employers.

The Pancratz Career Development Center offers a few choices for students interested in exploring career options using assessments. Students can take any of the following assessments on their own and then schedule a follow-up meeting with a Pancratz staff member to discuss the next steps.
The Pancratz Center staff can help students navigate the world of networking by suggesting student organizations, community organizations, or other networking activities that would be of benefit for a particular major. Pancratz staff can also help students perfect elevator speeches to become comfortable with introductions in networking settings.
The Center has a Mentor Program for undergraduate students in their sophomore, junior and senior year of their studies. Graduate students are also eligible for the program. The Mentor Program provides an opportunity for students to connect with professionals in their fields. Students interested in participating in the program are encouraged to reach out to the Center at email@example.com.
Student organizations can request to have a member of the Pancratz Center staff give a presentation to your organization. Presentations are available in a wide array of professional development topics and are tailored to your group. Please allow a minimum of two weeks notice for scheduling purposes.
